Textile Radio

Inspired by crystal radios invented in the late 19th centuary. They were very popular in the begging of the 1900's when voice transmission was possible. These simple radios use very few components which make them even more mystical. A lot of old war recepies online to use DIY techniques to create or home cook your electronic components.

Embroidery technique to make a Coil :

Translating a coil into a flat pattern for embroidery

This is what will create the tune selection and inductance of the radio.

Amplification:

Using LM386 op amp to make a louder amplification

LM386 amp

Translating the circuit into soft circuitry using conductive copper yarn and fabric.
